With agents sending in KYC documents to the central office, a backlog of Forms to be processed was created due to manual data entry procedure by document handlers in central office.
Given the amount of unprocessed documents they had, our task was to automate the process of data extraction from forms and automate the archiving process of processed forms.
Document data extraction solution known as ABBYY used to automate the extraction of data from scanned KYC forms, & saved data to database.
One of our partner products, an electronic Document Management Solution (Laserfiche) was used to save scanned forms from ABBYY.
A third-party software was used to generate unique pension numbers & each number was assigned to a customer in the Database.
Laserfiche used to archive customers KYC documents when it verified that the documents had been assigned pension numbers from database.
