About the client

Access Bank Plc is a full-service commercial Bank operating through a network of over 600 branches and service outlets located in major centres across Nigeria, Sub Saharan Africa and the United Kingdom. Listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange in 1998, the Bank serves its various markets through 5 business segments: Institutional, Commercial, Retail Banking, Transaction Services and Financial Markets.

Challenge

Piles of documents and files were stored without proper structure which made document retrievals time consuming and overwhelming as a task.

This ultimately slowed down responsiveness to document record inquiries due to high level of difficulty in tracking down documents.

Our Solution: What we did

Documents were sorted according to years, locations, dates, and placed within QR labeled boxes with numbers for bay mapping and recorded in the file plan.

QR code labelled carton boxes were positioned sequentially in structured QR labelled shelf racks allowing for fast and easy document tracking using warehouse management software.

95% cut in average document retrieval time;

Increased document inquirer Productivity, Responsiveness & Performance;

Lower physical document management cost by switching document storage to secure archiving facility.
